| There are numerous ways to get your child involved in all disciplines of art in Savannah. The best place to start is the City of Savannah Department of Cultural Affairs.
Their mission is simple:
To nurture excellence and diversity to improve the social fabric and quality of life for Savannah’s citizens, regardless of income, education, disabilities, or ethnicity; and to provide leadership in fostering programs that educate and expose citizens to a rich and diverse range of cultural expressions, to support artistic programs that celebrate creativity, create educational opportunities, encourage economic growth and enhance Savannah’s reputation as a cultural destination.
The Department of Cultural Affairs S.P.A.C.E. (Savannah’s Place for Arts, Culture & Education) studios, located at 9 West Henry Street, offer classes for all ages in ceramics, stained glass, jewelry making, painting and more. Classes range from beginner to advanced, and are open to anyone who would like to experiment in a new medium or refine their skills in a familiar one!
Spring Quarter begins Monday, March 19 and runs for
eight weeks. Enroll today to guarantee your spot! Space
is limited and classes fill up quickly. Class registration

fees include instruction, use of studio equipment and
